Cyclo-Cross World Championships were certainly successful ...

The race was very interesting and difficult due to the very large amount of sand on the route. I stood at the starting line in 2nd row, which was certainly easier than the need to tear from the very end. Shortly after the start I was on the 5th positions, and so I rode for about 2 rounds.

At the 3rd round I caught the legs the crisis, and I changed my bike, which all meant that I fell on the 9th place. For the next few rounds, I felt much better and have regained the lost space. The worst of all was that if someone fell out of a sands deep ruts, automatically was stopped at place and incurring huge losses to the leaders.

The last two rounds I was on the 5th positions, before the Belgian and Dutch riders, who chased me. Unfortunately, I buried in the sand and was overtaken by the Belgian, who managed to get through.

I rode to the finish line already at 101% of my strength, and thus I took an excellent 6th place. Superb, because I treated the Cyclo-Cross in the MTB Olympic year as good fun and I did not give it any special training. So I am very pleased with the achieved result.

Many thanks to all the fans for cheering me on the route, especially for Polish ones, lot of them was aroun!

During the next week, I'll have first pre-season MTB Team Training Camp at France :))).
