World Cup MTB Val di Sole
World Cup final, as the year before, was held in Val di Sole in Italy...
I came there with an assumption of fighting for the podium again. The course looked the pretty the same as last year's one except some elements. The beginning of the round was really tough as it was up and down for all the time and there was no place to rest. The second part was a bit easier, but on the other hand, much quicker. I didn't start well, I was left behind a bit. In the end of the start loop I moved forward and I was riding in about 6th place with 4 other riders. Frenchman and Italian made a small gap in front of the race and gotsome seconds. Almost the whole race looked pretty the same as I wasn't feeling good, but hopefully with 1 and a half round to go I felt much, much better. I attacked on the last round's one of very first uphills. I managed to make a small gap, but SCHULTE-LUENZUM Markus was very close.
In the meantime, I came riding on a two-site Frenchman, who did not even grab the wheel. I walked the last half rounds in the troupe now, because I was in 2nd place and I was not far from the first Finally at the finish line 9s lost to the winner who was undefeated Gerard Kerschbaumer. Peter went nicely Brzózka, who was ninth After the race from exhaustion in the next few minutes is not contacted, but rewarding to give everything to a moment later on the podium two times:) analyzing their okrężeń timeson the last lap is the best time I went around the U23 race (15 seconds faster than acompetitor in round 1). Because I jumped on a 3 second place in the general classification of the World Cup:)) By the way, I would like to thank my girlfriend for help, and many fans gathered on the route for your support. In the team race next Wednesday and Friday at World Cup fight for my best score of his career!
